Honda Odyssey Bolt Pattern (1999 – 2022)

The Honda Odyssey is a reliable, high-performance van that ranks it 3rd out of 8 for minivans. It has a low average annual repair cost of just $547, and is known to have great handling for a vehicle of its size. Despite these facts, there is going to come a time when you need to know the Honda Odyssey bolt pattern.

All generations of the Honda Odyssey made from 2005 to now have a bolt pattern of 5×4.72 inches (5x120mm) and a center bore of 2.52 inches (64.1mm). These Honda Odyssey vans use 5 lug nuts that have a thread size of M14 x 1.5.

These lug nuts need to be torqued down to 93.7 ft lbs (127 nm). If, however, you have an older Honda Odyssey that was manufactured between 1999 and 2004, then it has a bolt pattern of 5×4.5 inches (5×114.3mm). All the other specifications such as tightening torque, center bore, and the amount of lug nuts are the same.

However, this is not everything that you need to know. Below we made a table that outlines the bolt pattern in greater detail for each generation. We also include critical information regarding the lugs nut size and the exact diameter of the center bore and the torque settings for the lug nuts

Properly Tightening Honda Odyssey Bolts

The most recent generations of the Honda Odyssey use 5 lug nuts that must be secured in a specific criss-cross pattern and to a specific pressure. Sure, you can find this info in your Honda Odyssey user manual, but we went ahead and put it here for you.

The first step is to tighten all your lug nuts with a simple hand wrench first. If you tighten them all the way now, you are definitely going to run into problems later. Once you have them all half on, use a proper torque wrench to tighten them all properly in a criss cross pattern. For the most recent Odyssey, the lug nuts need to be tightened to 93.7 lb-ft.

Also, make sure to ensure that lug nuts are still secured after 30 miles or so. If any of them come loose, just tighten them again aCnd drive another 30 miles. Then check your lug nuts again. If any one of them comes loose after the second test, then you are going to have to replace the rim.

Rotating Honda Odyssey Tires

In general, the tires on a van will last around 75,000 miles. This figure can be more or less than that, but considering the fact that the Honda Odyssey is a reasonable family vehicle, it will more than likely be driven reasonably. So, I think it’s fair to assume that the tires will last for a good long while.

When it comes to the Honda Odyssey, it’s best to rotate its tires about every 7,500 miles. If you rotate your tires regularly, then they will last a lot longer than they would have otherwise. The good news is that rotating Audi tires is a super easy thing to do. It just comes down to moving the tires from the left side of the car to the right side of the car while also swapping them front to back.
