The Ford Fusion is a mid-size sedan that has no problem seating up to 5 people. It has a 175 horsepower engine as standard, which is more than enough for most people. There are higher performance engine options as well, along with a plug-in hybrid version. Regardless of which type you have, you will eventually need to know the Ford Fusion lug pattern.
If you have a Ford Fusion that was made between 2013 and 2020, then it uses a lug pattern of 5×4.25 inches (5x108mm) and has a center bore of 2.5 inches (63.4mm). It has 5 lug nuts that have a thread size of M12 x 1.5. The lug nuts need to be tightened down to 100 ft lbs. If, on the other hand, you have a Ford Fusion made between 2005 and 2012, then it has a lug pattern of 5×4.5 inches (5×114.3mm) and has a center bore of 2.64 inches (67.1mm). This version also has 5 lugnuts that use the same M12 x 1.5 thread size and 100lb-ft of tightening force as the model above.
The above information, though most certainly useful for a lot of different situations, does not tell you everything that you need to know. In this article, we will go over the Ford Fusion lug pattern in more detail for each generation.
After that, we will explain what type of lug nuts that you need to use for your Ford Fusion. Then we will go over things like the torque specs of the bolts and the exact Ford Fusion center bore size. In addition to all these things, we are also going to go over all the tire and rim options for each generation’s engine configurations.

Properly Tightening The Bolts
All Ford Fusions use 5 lug nuts tightened in criss-cross pattern to a specific torque level. You can find this information in your user manual, but we put it here for you too.
The first step is to tighten your Ford Fusion lug nuts with a hand wrench first. Don’t tighten them all the way just yet. Remember, if you tighten them down in the wrong order it could be dangerous as it could cause serious vibration and alignment issues.
Then, tighten them down with a torque wrench to the appropriate ft lbs. For the Ford Fusion, it is recommended to tighten the lug nuts down to 100 ft lbs.
Rotating Ford Fusion Tires
For the Ford Fusion, it’s best to rotate its tires about every 7,500 miles. The good news is that rotating your tires is really easy to do. All you have to do is move the tires from the left side of the car to the right side of the car while also swapping them front to back.
Time is something that wears out tires, too. Eventually, air and moisture has its way with it and the tire needs to be replaced. So, if your tires are older than 5 years old, you should replace them regardless of how many miles are on them.
Conclusion
The Ford Fusion is a decently performing mid-size sedan that has plenty of room for family and groceries. No matter how well your vehicle runs or how good of a job you do at taking care of it, you are going to eventually need to know the Ford Fusion lug pattern.
If your Ford Fusion was made between 2013 and 2020, it uses a lug pattern of 5×4.25 inches (5x108mm) and has a center bore of 2.5 inches (63.4mm). If, on the other hand, you have a Ford Fusion made between 2005 – 2012, then it has a lug pattern of 5×4.5 inches (5×114.3mm) and has a center bore of 2.64 inches (67.1mm). Both versions use 5 lug nuts that have a thread size of M12 x 1.5 lug nuts that need to be tightened down to 100 ft lbs.
