For all Chevy Camaros that were made from 2010 to now, a lug pattern of 5×4.72 inches (5x120mm) is used. Since 2010, all Chevy Camaros have a center bore of 2.63 inches (66.9mm) and use 5 lug nuts with a thread size of M14 x 1.5 that need to be tightened down to 140 ft lbs.
This information, while extremely useful, does not paint the entire picture. So, we have taken the time to outline the Camaro lug pattern in more detail for each generation below. We also give you links for the exact lug nuts that are used on the Chevy Camaro.
We will also inform you on the exact diameter of the center bore hub and how many ft lbs Camaro lugs need to be tightened to. Then, we will give you the tire and rim sizes that come with each engine configuration for each Camaro generation produced after 2010.

Wheel Fitment Specifications Per Generation
If you plan on doing any kind of tire or wheel work on your sportscar, you will need to know a little more than just the Camaro lug pattern. So, we have outlined all the various factors that you need to take into consideration for each Camaro generation. This information includes things like wheel tightening torque, center bore diameter, lug nut size, and the thread size of the Camaro lugs.
2010 – 2015
If you have a Chevrolet Camaro from this era that is equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine, it has a tire size of either 245/55R18, 245/50ZR19, or 245/45ZR20. Rim sizes for this version of the Camaro are 7.5Jx18 ET38, 8Jx19 ET38, or 8Jx20 ET35.
If you’ve got a Chevrolet Camaro that has the 6.2L V8 engine from this era, then it has a tire size of 245/45ZR20 and a standard rim size of 8Jx20 ET35. If you have the ultra-powerful 6.2L V8 Supercharged version of the Camera, then it has a tire size of 285/35ZR20 and a standard rim size of 10Jx20 ET23.
If you have one of the Chevrolet Camaros with the ridiculously massive and completely impractical 7.0L V8 engines, then it uses an equally absurd tire size of 305/30ZR19 and a rim size of 11Jx19 ET11.
You can see from the table below that there is almost no reason to go with the 7.0L version of the Camaro. Its only 50 more horsepower than the 6.2L supercharged version, but has way worse fuel economy.

2016 – 2022
If you have a Chevrolet Camaro with the tiny-but-powerful 275 HP 2.0L turbo engine or the 335 HP 3.6L V6 engine, then it uses a tire size of 245/50R18 and a rim size of 8.5Jx18 ET32. If, on the other hand, your Camaro has the 6.2L V8 engine, it uses a tire size of 245/40ZR20 and a rim size of 8.5Jx20 ET25.
Taking things a step further, if you have the 6.2L ZL1 V8 engine in your Chevrolet Camaro, then it uses a tire size of either 305/30ZR19 or 285/30ZR20. Rim sizes for this version of the Camaro are 11Jx19 ET11 or 10Jx20 ET20.

Properly Tightening The Bolts
Chevy Camaros use 5 lugs that need to be specifically tightened in a criss-cross pattern. . Each lug nut also needs to be tightened down to a specific torque level. This information, as you may expect, can be found in the Chevy Camaro user manual, but we put it here for you for convenience sake.
Making sure your lug nuts are properly tightened is of critical importance. Remember, if you tighten your Camaro lug nuts too much, you run the risk of damaging components and making the wheel nearly impossible to remove next time. Also, if you don’t tighten the lug nuts enough, you could lose control of the vehicle or the wheel could even come off.
So, tighten the lugs with a hand wrench. Don’t tighten them down all the way just yet. Doing so will make it really hard to get your lug nuts all torqued down to their proper level. So, just tighten them down about half way at first.
After that, you will need to get out a proper torque wrench so you can tighten your Chevy Camaro lug nuts with the appropriate amount of pressure. In the case of the Chevy Camaro, its lug nuts need to be tightened to 140 ft lbs.
Don’t just have faith. Do a travel test on your Chevy Camaro lug nuts. A travel test is something that is easy to do and important for your safety. So, tighten your lug nuts 140 ft lbs and then drive for around 30 miles or so.
After you do that, check the torque on each of your lug nuts again. If any of them came loose at all, re-tighten them and repeat the travel test. If, after that, you notice that any of your lug nuts are loose, it means that the rim is warped and needs to be replaced.
When To Rotate Chevy Camaro Tires
Most of the time, car tires last about 75,000 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. And you may be wondering, ‘How does time hurt tires?’ Well, the unfortunate science is the fact that after a few years, tires will start to dry rot. When this occurs, the tires need to be replaced, even if there are not many miles on them.
No one likes it when their tires wear out. The good news is that rotating your Chevy Camaro tires regularly will allow them to last much longer than they otherwise would have been able to. For the Chevy Camaro, the best time to rotate the tires every 7,500 miles. Rotating tires is easy-peazy. Simply move the rear tires to the front and move the front tires to the rear. While you are doing so, also swap the left and right sides.
